Biography

Full Professor at NES since 2009 and Associate Professor at CERGE-EI (Prague). 

He received his MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Maddison in 1997 and 2000 respectively. In 1995, he got his master's degree from the New Economic School, and he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1992 with a diploma in Applied Mathematics. He has been working at the New Economic School since 2000.

His main research interest is Econometrics, including method of moments and time series modeling, estimation and testing. Stanislav has published about 50 articles in international refereed journals and given more than a hundred conference and seminar talks. He is a co-author of the book "Methods for Estimation and Inference in Modern Econometrics". 

He is the founding Editor of Quantile, a Russian-language journal on econometrics.
