NES Outreach Center

The NES Outreach Center was established in the autumn of 1998 for dissemination of the experience in modern economic education among the universities in Russia and other CIS countries.

The Outreach Center's activities are focused on the organization of schools, workshops, seminars and public lectures for faculty and researchers of Russian universities and universities from other CIS countries. The Outreach Center also organizes and supports the visits of the regional researchers to NES.

Main Objectives:

- to disseminate the NES experience in teaching of economics and econometrics disciplines;
- to develop advanced training programs for teachers of economic disciplines, graduate students and researchers from the universities and research centers in Russia and CIS;
- to summarize and disseminate the latest modern experience in organization of education, in research and methodical work, as well as
advanced educational forms and methods;
- to organize and hold field schools and seminars;
- to organize practical training at NES for teachers of economic disciplines from the Russian universities;
- to provide consultations.
