Faculty members interested in any of the services listed below should contact Kate Koppy.
Faculty members who seek to integrate written and oral communication into their courses may attend roundtables centered on topics of common interest, such as creating writing and communication assignments, responding to student writing, etc.
Faculty who give writing and oral communication assignments may request an in-class workshop or presentation on a relevant topic, such as writing a thesis statement, composing a bibliography, formatting an essay, paragraph structure, or any other aspect of writing. A WCC consultant will meet with the professor to develop a workshop or presentation plan and at a later date, will come to class to deliver it. WCC consultants can also visit class session to explain WCC services and how they are relevant to the course content and assignments.
Faculty members wishing to receive feedback on their own research projects can request a consultation by emailing Kate Koppy.
Writing and communication materials for pedagogical and professional academic needs can be obtained from the WCC by request.
