He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Paris and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
His research interests are in development economics and political economy. Particularly, he seeks to understand the conditions for establishment of Rule of Law in societies and its consequences for institutional design and development.
He is considered an emerging leader in the field of law and economics and how to build state capacity via training high-stakes decision-makers.
