Biography

He got his PhD in Economics from The University of California, Davis and B.S. in Economics from Boston College. He served as a Staff Economist in the President's Council of Economic Advisors, and as a Modelling Analyst for the Democratic National Committee.

His main academic specialization is in empirical International Trade, with interests in Open-Economy Macro, Growth, Economic History, and Forecasting. In addition, he is also interested in monetary policy, and in the replication/robustness crisis in academia. He is a member of the Replication Network. At NES he reads International Economics courses.
