Career Prospects

One of the School’s key achievements is the strong demand for NES graduates in the labor market: 90% of them get a job in their degree field within the first three months after graduation.

  • More than 80% of the NES alumni work in the corporate business, including Russian and international companies that are known as the leaders in the financial and real sectors of the economy, as well as in consulting (J.P. Morgan, McKinsey, BCG, Barclays, Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, Sberbank, etc.)
  • 16% of them choose an academic career at the world's leading universities. In 2020, up to 25% of graduates were continuing their studies abroad at Master's and PhD programs, including at universities from the top 10 of the Times Higher Education global ranking (Stanford University, Princeton University, University of Cambridge, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, etc.)
  • 4% of the NES alumni work in the public sector, including in the Government of Russia, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, etc.
