Profile
Since
September 2005, Sergey Stepanov is an Assistant Professor at the New Economic
School, Moscow, and a lead economist at CEFIR. He received Ph.D. in Economics
at Free University of Brussels (Universite Libre de Bruxelles), Belgium, in September
2005. In 2002 at the same university he obtained diploma DEA (Diplome d’Etudes
Approfondies) in Economics and Statistics (diploma with the highest distinction).
In 2000 he got MA in Economics from the New Economic School, and in 1998 - M.Sc.
in Engineering from the Moscow Aviation Institute.
